Building Fund Fee
This is a one-time, non-refundable fee for individual adults & adults in Family Memberships (General and Adult Only) which they will be required to pay upon joining.
- It is a one-time fee charged to adults upon registration, it is 100% subsidized for assisted members
- $75/adult taxes included
- If you cancel and rejoin within 6 months it does not need to be paid again (from cancellation date/payment)
- The fee will not be charged for membership upgrades e.g. family to family adult only OR adult to family
- If transferring membership (YMCA Canada reciprocal membership policy) or moving from one Y to another Y for whatever reason you will not to have to pay the fee again
- If a current member ages out of membership category that does not have the BFF, prior to monthly membership renewal you will notified of the change and the BFF to make a choice to cancel or rollover to new category. E.g. Student to Adult

Month-to-month payments make it easy to join, stress-free. Don’t know where you’ll be in six months? Don’t worry about it. Join us!
Family Membership
Family is one or two adults (General or Adult Only) and any dependent children youth or students 21 or under. Family discounts start at 15%. Please contact us for details.
Anywhere in Canada
Travel for work? Your Y membership may be used at any Y in Canada. Find your Y by visiting the YMCA Canada website at www.ymca.ca.
Membership Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your membership, we require minimum 5 days written notice prior to your next payment and surrender of membership card(s). Cancellation fee will apply (except financially assisted members).
Visitor Day Pass
A visitor day pass is available for students and adults for $11, for child/youth for $7, and for family for $13. Day pass is for general change room access.
Programs
Access to group fitness classes, pools, gymnasium, courts, and conditioning center is included in membership. Unlimited fitness orientations led by certified YMCA Fitness Leaders. Swim lessons included in memberships, subject to availability.
Course Discount
Being a member also gives you a discounted rate for our other programs: YMCA fitness leadership courses, life saving courses, special interest clinics and more.
Change Rooms
We have five change rooms to suit unique needs:
- Family and Special Needs
- Male All Ages General
- Female All Ages General
- Men Adult Only (19 years & up)
- Women Adult Only (19 years & up)
Membership Adult Only rooms offer extra amenities like card access to adult-only change rooms, towel service, body care products and sauna.
Child Minding
We look after the ones you love so you can have time to look after yourself. We will care for children ages 0-8 years old. Additional fees may apply. See page 6 of the Member Handbook for guidelines.
Bike Parking
We offer bike parking at the back & front entrances of the building.
