About the Y

The YMCA has been a part of life in Northeast Avalon for over 150 years. Our core programs of Employment and Enterprise Services, Child Care, Health, Fitness & Recreation and Camp programs are offered at over 30 locations in our communities.

The Y is a registered, incorporated charity that builds healthy communities. Many donors such as Ches Penney have made the new Y building possible through their generous donations to the capital campaign.
